- Leaning Tower of Pisa was built on really unstable soil which has no strong nature to hold the things intact.
- Construction up to three floors went really good but later it was found that it was leaning a bit where the construction has been stopped till 1272 as there was a war which took place in the country. [Nearly 100years of construction went for rest]
- Later the construction was resumed and went till seven floors where the construction was tilting one degree towards south but suddenly again the construction was stopped because of no reasons in 1975.
- After a pause the construction was completed by the year 1372 with the help of a person called Tommaso who had taken up the uncompleted task. By the end of the construction the tower was tilting further more.
- To remodify the construction many architects visited Italy but none could succeed except trying to level the soil, adding up some weights etc.
- It took nearly 200years for constructing this bell tower due to war and other circumstances.
In 2008 the tower was leaning nearly 5.6 degrees which called up for emergency where many architects came into action to restore the monument by removing large amount sand deposits. After restoring the monument, it has reduced its lean to 4 degrees. [1.6degrees have been adjusted]
Note:Estimates suggest that the monument won't be having a problem in coming 220years.Currently it leans 12 feet vertically.
