Storyline:
Ameneh Bahrami is a woman who has a very soft heart and has high religious values since her childhood. During her college days she has said a big no to a person with the name Movahedi, who has come with a love proposal. In the month of October 2004, Hearing the words he turned into anger where he has attacked with acid onto Ameeneh face. Subsequently she went through many surgeries but hasn't got her eyes back. There were either many major operations which took place but none could get her face back to a normal condition.
She appealed the court that she desired "to inflict the same life on him that he inflicted on me". She appealed the court to drop acid in Movahedi eyes.
The attacker was held to get punished under the law. Punishment was known as ''eye for an eye'' which explains that he needs to end up as a blind person. A doctor has to drop acid into the eyes was the final judgement. Finally the day has come to the punish the attacker but just before the execution Ameneh has taken her words back in the name of humanity and forgiveness. She said that the words were taken back in the name of her country and the people.
Many asked why did you take back your plea?
-She smiled and replied, saying a punishment is not a right choice for the one who has given power to execute. She either added stating that her change in the thoughts took place in a hospital under the influence of two good people she met.
Final words before the dramatic scene?
The whole world was looking forward since seven years from the day of the attack which took place. On the final day she said in this way.
